Scribblings from Sarajevo: 200th Post
http://scribblingsfromsarajevo.blogspot.com/2008/03/200th-post.html
Thursday, March 6, 2008. No, I really don't care that it's my 200th post, but here it is. I'm finally catching up on my Google Reader. This time, only 80 posts to read, compared to the 170 the last time I looked at it. I have been reading about Jill's adventure. It was like everyday was a weekend. Nothing will compare to that. I will miss the cakes. Sarajevo can do cakes. Or "Passati is first in line at the taxi stand! He was our favorite taxi driver - gruff voice, always looked like he just woke up, kin...

But it made me realize a few things, and I'd like to share this with you. I call it Fitting In:. 2 Get a sweatshirt of said team that you wear whenever you go to support said team. So those are my tips. Remember them as you move around cities, countries, whathaveyou. Is that way you always make me talk so much? John: movin...

Scribblings from Sarajevo: Movable Feets
http://scribblingsfromsarajevo.blogspot.com/2008/01/movable-feets.html
Saturday, January 19, 2008. Tonight I found out one more thing about Wiley: he can't splay his toes. His toes can only move up and down, not side to side, whereas I can wave with my pinky. (I can see everybody now tearing off their socks to see what the toes can accomplish.). Isn't it funny the things we learn? The phrase "camel toe" now has new meaning, and that's all I have to say about that. January 19, 2008 at 5:04 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Links to Our Pictures. Minnesota 59, Indiana 58.

Scribblings from Sarajevo: Letter to Landlords
http://scribblingsfromsarajevo.blogspot.com/2008/01/letter-to-landlords.html
Thursday, January 24, 2008. I pay on time, if not early. Ask my former landlady; ask my storage unit who gets money from me every month. Ask the phone company, the cable company, my insurance company: I PAY MY BILLS. But the one thing that disqualifies me from renting from you, and which no doubt gives you headaches because you can't find honest, drug-free people like me very often, is the fact that you say I can't have pets. Why is this a disqualification? January 24, 2008 at 6:47 PM. This sounds like a...

I don’t (can’t) believe this man will actually be elected President of the United States. How could such a thing even be possible? It’s crazy out there, my friends. Thanks for listening. KCPD Chief: Understanding Call Prioritization
http://kcpdchief.blogspot.com/2013/08/understanding-call-prioritization.html
Thursday, August 22, 2013. We sometimes hear complaints that police don’t respond as quickly as people expect to certain types of incidents. The most common complaints are for calls about burglaries, car break-ins and non-injury accidents. We have a finite number of officers, so we must prioritize calls in which someone’s life or safety is at risk. Our policy. Very clearly outlines what types of calls receive priority, but here’s a little more succinct version that our dispatchers follow:. As we work to ...
