The Hardy Family: December 2010
http://clemsonanduschouse.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 24, 2010. December and some reflections on Mema. Our precious Mema went to be with the Lord on Dec 16.just 3 short weeks after Nanny. This has been the hardest month of our family's life and we miss those 2 ladies terribly. BUT, we rejoice that they are together in heaven and their bodies are well again! We have always referred to Mema as a saint because she truly was. She was an amazing Christian lady and she lived it out daily. Snuggling in front of the Christmas tree. Tyler's choir at...

Saturday, January 26, 2013. May began with Greyson turning THREE on May 7 (his party on May 5)! He wanted a soccer party. We had his party in Mimi and Pop's backyard and couldn't have asked for a prettier day! At the age of three, Greyson is Mr. Independent. He thinks he's bigger and older than he really is which comes along with being the 3rd child. He has lots of sweet friends and they all came to help him celebrate! Cinco de Miyo fun at San Jose:. Oh how he melts my heart! Friday, January 25, 2013.

The Hardy Family: April 2012

Tuesday, April 10, 2012. At the end of last week, we took a little mini trip to Charleston.2 days and one night. We had a lot of fun packed into a small amount of time! We stayed at an awesome hotel with an indoor swimming pool. I think the boys thought that was the best part of the whole trip! They love it any time we stay at a hotel (which isn't very often). It's so cute how excited they get and the comments they make! The 2nd best part was the amazing FREE breakfast the hotel had! We drove down to the...

The Hardy Family: October 2010

Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Our little buddy, Scott, turned 5 on Sunday! It was a fun filled weekend of celebrating. He had a baseball party at the Irmo baseball field on Saturday followed by a little family celebration on Sunday. Then, on Tuesday his class celebrated with him at school. I can't believe my buddy is 5! It seems like yesterday that he was born 3 weeks and 5 days early weighing only 5lbs 15oz. He was a petite little thing! Greyson thought he needed to help Scott open all his presents!

The Hardy Family: November 2010

Sunday, November 28, 2010. Where do I even begin? Over these last several weeks I have had lots of time to reflect on Nanny's life and the wonderful memories I have of her. I'm going to share just a few:. She was a believer and shared with us her love for God throughout her life. We loved going to her house as children and even into adulthood. She knew how to entertain and was very hospitable. She allowed Robbie, Tyler and myself to live with her for 4 months when we moved up her way. Tyler was just ...

Sunday, February 19, 2012. Between basketball games and practice, piano lessons, church on Wed nights, activities at school, and Robbie starting baseball season we've been quite busy! The boys' basketball season ended 2 weeks ago with a final game and party afterwards. Tyler will be playing again for a short Spring season that starts in March, but Scott is starting t-ball. His first practice was this past week and he's already in "mode"! He absolutely loves sports.I wonder where he gets that from! Scott'...

Tuesday, February 4, 2014. The Day the Clouds Came Down. Living in the mountains of central Mexico has been a new adventure for this Florida girl. The weather changes as quickly as the wind this time of year. One day we woke up to find the mountain covered in what we thought was a dense fog, but the fog didn't lifted as the day went on. We were sitting in the clouds and the clouds stayed around for two long, cold days. We were cold to the bone, and in the village, there is no place to get warm.

Monday, October 21, 2013. Making Memories Monday - Field Trip! One of the great things about studying U.S. History (homeschool) in rural Mexico, is that you don't have to go far out your front door to find people working and living much like our pioneer ancestors did a few hundred years ago. While reading. WARNING: There are many pictures in this blog entry. The process was so interesting and the colors so amazing! Here is the wool yard before it has been washed and dyed. The beginnings of a wool rug.

The Hardy Family: The here and now!
http://clemsonanduschouse.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-here-and-now.html
Friday, February 8, 2013. The here and now! I've spent a little bit of time updating the blog on things that happened back in the Spring, but I want to take a moment for the here and now so I don't forget the day to day of life right now! 4th grade is going well and in less than 2 months, he will be turning TEN! So, sure enough on Monday morning she had a King Size Kit Kat waiting for him! I'm so thankful for that! Wow, what a heart! Tyler's at the end of his basketball season and has had a great one!
