Some houses at Salisbury will be switching on their beautiful Christmas lights from the 1st of December 2008. Residents and the greater community are encouraged to visit these streets between 7pm and 10pm. This is the first house that we visited. The owners are friendly old couple. We were invited into the house. Santa Claus is coming to town. Baby Jesus inside the Stable. Come and visit mother Christmas.

Previously I took photos of Hahndorf in Winter. The scenery of Hahndorf in Autumn is different from winter. There are lots of Maple trees. All the tree leaves are red in colour. The Salisbury Christmas Paegent kick off with presentation to people who have contributed to the community. One of them, Maurice Riddle is our neighbour. He was a retired drug squad. He is a voulenteer who rides around Salisbury collecting syringes left over by the drug addicts. He helped to make the street a safer place to live. Maurice receive his photo from the Mayor. Maurice rides on a MG sport car.
