Monday, December 31, 2007. Travis h. eddy. Thursday, December 27, 2007. We're home now. Sorry I got lazy about blogging towards the end of the trip. All I can say is that Thailand was GREAT! Meeting up with Hana and Jake, and then Amanda and Sean was fantastic! Weird, but great for kayaking and snorkeling. How can you not love this country! Man, it's good to be back. Friday, December 21, 2007. Saturday night was the housewarming 80's party out at Boone's house (named "Browntown"), and this was when we re...

Tuesday, October 30, 2007. River festival in Laos. As the day progressed more people filtered into the festival grounds. A low rider pickup truck blasting hip hop- something we haven't seen in well over a year- cruised the main strip. The beer tents filled up. The game booths grew louder. Children packed the jumpy castles and parents milled around its edges peering over the wall at their happily shrieking kids. Well, it took a lot of work, a lot of time on sweaty central American chicken buses, stuffy tr...

Tuesday, September 25, 2007. This single word is using to fulfill literally dozens of meanings, none of which have anything to do with what the actual English word denotes. A yelled "HELLO! Could mean anything from "please look at and purchase my amazing postcards/flutes/memorycards/buddha statues" to "you are going the wrong way, follow me and I will show you the way to the river and try to get you let me take for a cruise in my bamboo boat", depending on the context. But the much more expressive "HELLO!

Monday, November 26, 2007. Teenage escorts and Loy Krathong. Another full moon, another festival. Travis and I have a history of spending foreign holidays in small towns, so we opted to leave crowded MaeHongSon and travel further South to MaeSariang, a town completely unmentioned in our guidebook. We arrived the afternoon of the festival and after wandering the wide, dusty roads for over an hour we found little that indicated a major party would soon be under way. In select hair s. Who what when where why? October 17, 2010 · 10:05 pm. From fishing boats to furniture. Greetings everyone and happy Spring! I do have some exciting hat related news for you but first, and without further ado, about this furniture. (You may have seen it in the latest edition of ‘Good Magazine’.) Isn’t it beautiful. It’s all made from fishing boats salvaged from islands all over Indonesia. No longer sea worthy, many of these boats were being used for firewood! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Little bag of lace.

fanny pack snackers: March 2008

Saturday, March 29, 2008. Next time, we´ll be sure to make it to Marrakesh, the Atlas mountains and the desert. There´s just never enough time to do everything you need to do in every place. We left Morocco with a good taste of the culture, and a desire to get out of the border towns and into the heart of the land. Travis h. eddy. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Hovering jesus and mary. For every time you celebrate the King of Thailand´s 80th birthday in Bangkok. Travis h. eddy. Friday, March 21, 2008. I coul...

Who what when where why? Two thousand and zen →. December 14, 2009 · 11:32 am. Some things can’t wait. The end of the year is always a mad crazy busy time. Everyone trying to “wrap things up” in a frenzy, whether it’s year long to-do lists, last minute Christmas presents, or this year, some kind of worthwhile agreement on what we’re going to do about global climate change. Have you guys read Weeds, Guardians of Our Soil. To me it’s akin to the documentary Sharkwater. Most of all, I’ve been totally ...

Who what when where why? And new wooly hats. A la campagne →. April 20, 2009 · 12:57 am. Just got the good word about Kraftbomb next weekend (Sunday April 26th) in Auckland. It’s ON! I’ll be there with hats, undies and hopefully more. Even made more hats for the occasion…. In the meantime, getting ready to leave Welly and head on up and out NEXT WEEK! Used scraps to make Jake a warm dome cozy. Oh warm fuzziness. His was custom made for the pro cyclist Kaj Flemming Anderson apparently, another tall dude.
