May 25, 2012. A Quiet Evening On The River. As I write this, we have just completed a peaceful night anchored out on the Tennessee River. If you look at the Trip Schedule map, you will see just where we are. Although there were a few fishermen out last night, there weren’t any pirates. May 17, 2012. Always Check The Born-on Date. I’m a little late, our last night was Sunday and of course we made new best friends and learned of two really good reasons we didn’t go to Gumbo Key 2016. I will include those with the pictures below. We took the back roads to Old 27 Grill and had a great time. I had to borrow this. We were sitting in the bar without air-conditioning. Ugh!
