Good Books, Good Coffee, Good Life: Review: Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis
http://goodbooksgoodcoffeegoodlife.blogspot.com/2012/01/review-simply-irresistible-by-jill.html
Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Review: Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis. Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis. October 1, 2010. I thought I'd start out the new year with a nice contemporary romance full of fluff and the cover and synopsis for Simply Irresistible. And then there is Jax , sigh. He's the perfect combination of bad boy and nice guy with tons of rugged manly appeal. The chemistry between Maddie and Jax is sizzling and the love scenes are très. Because you'll be missing out on some yummy litera...

Sunday, August 7, 2011. Giveaway and Book Trailor: Retribution by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I think any good paranormal romance fan has read at least one Sherrilyn Kenyon. Seeing that her Dark Hunter series is one of the most loved and longest para-rom series out there, it's hard to resist the temptation of reading a Kenyon book. While I still need to do some catching up in reading the rest of the Dark Hunter books (there is a gazillion of them! Good segway, eh ;)? St Martin’s Press is offering. January 10, 2012.

Friday, July 29, 2011. Book Trailer: One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost. Usually, I'm not a huge fan of book trailers. While I'm not a total book trailer hater, I have found that most trailers tend to be very poorly done and extremely tacky. However, I found this gem of a book trailer on Jeaniene Frost's blog this morning. Oh man you guys, it's a good one! It makes you want to squee. With excitement and pull your hair out in frustration for having to wait another month for One Grave at a Time. Leaps i...

Blood Rose Books: Layton Green: The Shadow Cartel
http://j9books.blogspot.com/2015/07/layton-green-shadow-cartel.html
Monday, July 20, 2015. Layton Green: The Shadow Cartel. This is the fourth book in Layton Green's Dominic Grey series, the three before this The Summoner. Are all great reads and do set up the relationships that Grey has. However, I do think that this book could be read as a stand-alone novel, but I do highly recommend the other books in this series. Layton Green brings Dominic Grey back and this time the cult he and Viktor are investigation goes hand in hand with drug trafficking and even more:.

Monday, March 30, 2015. Ilona Andrews: Magic Breaks. Althought at the beginning of this book there is a brief synopsis presented that outlines what has happened before in the previous 6 books, you should read those before reading this one. They are not only great reads but a few pages never makes up for 6 books worth of character development, world building and relationships. Ilona Andrews is back with her Kate Daniels series, and in this book what Kate feared most is about to happen:. If You Like This,.

Saturday, January 7, 2012. New Cover Alert: The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires by Molly Harper. I've only read one Molly Harper book, How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf. But found her writing to be absolutely hilarious. I keep saying that I'll read her uber popular Jane Jameson series soon but never get around to it. Of course, after seeing the cover for The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires. I'm right back to the "man, I really need to read those books." Perhaps after I'm finished with Lothaire.

Monday, February 7, 2011. Chinese New Year - Year of the Rabbit. Book: My First Chinese New Year by Karen Katz. A complicated theme like Chinese New Year for 3 to 5 year olds is a little bit daunting, so I decided to keep it as simple as possible. Like all of Karen Katz's books, "My First Chinese New Year" is a perfect storytime choice with big colorful illustrations and cheerful and cute text. Which has children hop around when they are instructed to "wake up soon". With ears so funny. The doorbell ring...
