Friday, August 8, 2014. San Carlos, Mexico 2014. The Pearl Farm, field trip. When I was a 5 year old girl in 1977 my mom and my Aunt Maren pulled us out of school for 2 weeks. We headed down to a beautiful, desert beach off of the Gulf of California. They loaded 11 kids in a suburban and it was the beginning of a tradition that has lasted now for almost 40 years. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Our First Real Family Vacation. This week was Spring Break. I felt like myself all over again. Working full-time is a whole new ballgame. Not sure that I'm cut out for it actually. We took the kids to Silver Dollar City and stayed in the Fall Creek Resort. Had a ball! Really had such a good time. It felt good. Thursday, July 31, 2014. The days after Sedona and after Mexico we spent a few short quick days in Tucson and in Phoenix. I grew up in Tempe which is actually metro PHX. When I say PHX, I really mean, Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert and Tempe. Things that we saw and did…. So, with that being said…we were late but had a great time seeing friends, family and cousins galore during those few quick days in Phoenix and Tucson. Mesa, Arizona Temple. Sunday, December 9, 2012. Thanksgiving in Dover Delaware. Well, it was great. It was amazing. 22 hours in the car one way, 44 hours in the car total with 4 little girls. We did it. Sunday, January 13, 2013. 7, loves life and people. Every day is a gift, that contains indescribable possibilities of seeing people and being with people, hopefully with music and a party involved. We’re always trying to figure out where she gets all of this behavior. Biebs is still on her marriage radar, though I’m not sure how, and she wins the award for best big sister ever. And, though tiny, she scored anywhere from 5-10 goals in every soccer game last season, and yes that’s a humblebrag.
