Through the Eye of the Needle. Sunday, December 28, 2008. The Sleepwalker and the Spotlight. To see a child eat—is pleasure. Visceral goodness. Eating with their fingers. Smacking their lips. Food encircling their mouth in delight. I am not an authority on etiquette or grace,. But I no longer eat like a child. My food is consumed more quietly,. With functional refinement, barely touching my lips. Rarely is a meal experienced in such a sensual, lip-smacking way. Shoveling. I became aware—. 1 1/2 C flour.

Did they need any help? Did they need someone like me? Put to wider use. I keep second-guessing myself, but, as my Beloved added, maybe my leaning in this direction is for some good reason. I paused ...

Poppies and Milk: sewing

November : big boy pants and rainy days. Nothing better than a completed pile of comfy pants for my boy! 0160;im almost embarassed at how long these took to finish. i had them on my sewing table complete with the exception of the hemming for months! 0160;i used the old tracing trick for the pattern, using a pair of pants that fit him well. i was totally inspired to use a real pattern, though, after seeing these pants. 0160;gives me hope for making even bigger boy pants! I had leftover from this project.
