Sunday, March 2, 2014. It was a beee-utiful 75 degree day today. And in our house, full sunshine and warm temperatures translate into outdoor activities all day, in any way we can get them. In lieu of our usual love of biking/park visits, we busted out the much loved bounce house. And truthfully, "love" doesn't even cover the kid's enthusiasm for this activity. When I told them Daddy was outside setting it up, they were quite literally RUNNING to the door. Helping Daddy set up the fun. Dan and Lou Halsted.

Tuesday, November 17, 2009. So did yall know 5D is fifty? Me neither. Cooper just asked me that when he was playing with this puzzle on the floor today after school. I just knew he had mistaken the shape of the D for an O. But after he said it very slow (and LOUD), I realized 5D is "Fift D". Ha, what a funny kid! Other early trick or treaters. Saturday, October 4, 2014. Annual Class Trip to the Zoo. On Friday, all of Grayson and Delaney’s classmates met up to take in the splendor that is Riverbanks Zoo. I’ve done multiple posts about this place, rendering y’all very familiar with our fondness of it. That being said, I’ll spare you another round of mooshy, gooshy feelings and get on with the pictures. If you’d like, here is the link to LAST year’s zoo classtrip. Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Toto, we’re not in South Carolina anymore! We had yet ANOTHER snow day here in South Carolina today. This weather is CRAY-ZEEE! We haven’t seen any snow in two years, then BOOM, twice within a couple weeks of each other. Monday, December 29, 2014. Three Months Full of Love, Tears and Family. So much has transpired in the past 3 months for our family. This holiday season brought Halloween, numerous trips to Little Rock, the passing of the most amazing Grandmother a girl could be blessed with, Thanksgiving, a special visit with Santa,. Yes, she’s 3 now. Time is flying! And finally the Christmas extravaganza. The munchkins pass the time coloring during one of our drives to Little Rock. Time to run around GiGi's backyard.

Saturday, May 31, 2014. Park Adventures with Classroom Buddies. Today we had an end of the school year bash at our huge park here in Columbia. There were probably 40 people with all the siblings and parents in attendance. We were inundated with yummy food, lots of fun, numerous happy munchkins and tons of playground and duck feeding excitement. All the pictures are below. Hope everyone had a great Saturday too! Grayson slides while Mrs. Maria keeps a watchful eye. A little monkey bar fun. Run, run, run.
