Monday, November 11, 2013. I'm thankful to all those who serve our country. My dad has so many inspiring stories. I'm sure he would gladly remove the war from his life; but I wish everyone could know the courage, faith, and endurance he showed. There were so many miracles; so many times his life was preserved. Sunday, October 6, 2013. Here's the latest and greatest from the Vickers clan. My ribs finally feel like they are healing. At first when I was adjusted it felt like hot fire. It was so painful! Then, a month later, Mark shared the viral flu with me. Oh the agony! My neighbor gave me a breathy thing, (she's a nurse) and upon seeing how little I could get the blue thing up said I had "smokers lungs." Now I can get it up to 2000, but I still have 500 more to go before Wednesday. Critters Around our House.

Monday, October 14, 2013. Every time I am stuck at home I go through a cleaning/painting craze afterward. This first happened when Megan was sick years ago. I ended up painting half our house. This time I was stuck home with my rib. Now I'm de-cluttering our house. After seven years we have sure accumulated a ton of items we do not need. This is our den right now. Sadly, this isn't even half of what I'm taking to Goodwill.. Kendra posing on her bed. I haven't changed her room since she was a baby!

Thursday, October 31, 2013. Tonight we did something different. As soon as Mark came home we jumped in the van to trick or treat at the mall. The candy is mediocre, but one can't beat the convenience! We were done and home in an hour, maybe less. A regular platypus.. Megan the peacock. Yes, I painted her face! Super girl on the move.
