Ilkley and District Good Neighbours. The ShopAssist project is one of our Ilkley and District Good Neighbours schemes. It aims to enhance the mental and physical health of our community by enabling people to get out of their homes on a regular basis and facilitating access to a range of healthy foods. The project connects elderly or infirm people with volunteers who spare a couple of hours a week helping with their shopping at a local supermarket. Could you spare a couple of hours a week?

Ilkley and District Good Neighbours. The annual Good Neighbours festive parcels distribution, to those who are likely to be alone over the holiday period, took place in the run up to Christmas. A veritable army of volunteers, drawn from the Rotary Clubs of Ilkley and Ilkley Wharfedale, ably assisted by KIVCA volunteers assembled in the Masonic Hall to pack and wrap the festive gifts in record time. Students from Ilkley Grammar school joined the distribution teams to visit and chat with the recipients.

Welcome to the Bicester Good Neighbour Scheme. We aim to provide a personal, caring, free home visiting service to older people living in the Bicester area. If you feel you could benefit from a little extra friendship and support, then we are happy to help you. Who qualifies for the Good Neighbour Scheme?
