Thursday, September 2, 2010. Time for a fresh start in trying to keep up with this blog thing. Life has flown by Laken has already turned 6 where did the time go? Mason wants a big party as well and due to health concerns and time lost at work it is turning into a tighter budget for his upcoming birthday. Savannah was sick on Christmas Eve so she just laid on the couch most the time while JayLynn and I decorated the cookies. Every Christmas Eve the girls unwrap their 'Christmas Eve gift' before bedtime. After we finished with our presents and took the curlers out of the girls hair, we headed off to Grandpa Bawden's house to celebrate there.

We are all done with paint and we are now laying the tile! We are so excited. Eva and I textured the walls. We wanted an old world fresco type look so we did a glaze over it and I am stoked at the way it turned out. We inlayed raised Fleur De Li's' on one accent wall and they really stand out with the wall glaze. Halo Mural in progress.
