Sunday, October 21, 2012. On a warm october day/ En varm dag i oktober. On the warmest october day in Denmark in 135 years we went on a bicycle ride around our new neighborhood to see what we might find. All so close to home, so lovely. October 21, 2012 at 11:06 AM. Wid Kids: HUGE transformation
http://widkidsblog.blogspot.com/2012/03/huge-transformation.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. Well here she is. Daves new office space and ware house. isn't she beautiful? Well, not here, she's not, but she becomes beautiful. Dave has big dreams, that's one of the reasons i love him so much, and the best part is that usually if he dreams it, it happens. This building had sat empty just about a mile from our house for many many years. the roof had completely fallen inside, it was a MESS to say the least. reminds me a lot of this project. Still the lobby area. The photo abo...

http://widkidsblog.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 13, 2011. After i thought about it more and more, i started talking to dad about maybe trying to get one and surprise him with it. he works harder than anyone i know and loves to give people extravagant gifts, so i thought i was time to turn the tables on him and blow him away. I told him it was for real and he needed to go outside and check it out. Happy Birthday to the best part of me. You complete me, truly. I wouldn't be who i am without you. We all love you so much. Moment to Moment: First time needle felting
http://momenttomomentdk.blogspot.com/2010/07/first-time-needle-felting.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. First time needle felting. We recently received some beautiful wool rowing. And Kaleena has been asking and asking to do some needle felting, she has watched me do it, but I have been hesitant about allowing her to work with the sharp needles. Then the other day I came across a post over on Small Things. First she stuffed the cookie cutter with wool rowing. And then carefully set to work with the needle. A wonderful thursday to you. Labels: crafts with children. I was planning to...

http://momenttomomentdk.blogspot.com/2012/10/inspired-by-season.html
Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Inspired by the season. Autumn is upon us, with grey skies, lots of rain and winds. I am inspired to take walks along the country roads by our house,. In the woods or by the lakes,. Gathering bits of autumns beauty and bringing it inside to warm our house. Along with lots and lots of candles. October 16, 2012 at 4:30 PM. Moment to Moment: The beautiful children
http://momenttomomentdk.blogspot.com/2010/06/beautiful-children.html
Monday, June 14, 2010. Well, our trip has almost come to an end, tomorrow bright and early we will pile back into the car and make the four hour journey back to Asheville. What has impressed me the most this past week is the beautiful children. Such joy, such creativity, such beauty. I am once again reminded of the treasure it is to live in the country. Has all been just magical for me to behold. To be sure, seven children do put forth an intense amount of energy, and the week has not been without confli...

Moment to Moment: Making Echinacea syrup
http://momenttomomentdk.blogspot.com/2010/07/making-echinacea-syrup.html
Sunday, July 4, 2010. Using herbs has become a way of life for us, and every year I become more proficient and add more knowledge and experience to this wonderful way of caring for my family. Even so I am certainly still a novice herbalist ). I enjoy all aspects of the herbs, from growing and caring for them, to harvesting and then preparing the herbs. I also added some Bee Balm flowers for taste, and they are also great for common colds and such. I also added one comfrey leaf, just because:). And in cas...

Friday, October 19, 2012. A Walk in the Woods. 8220;There is a pleasure in the pathless woods; There is a rapture on the lonely shore;. There is society, where none intrudes,. Moment to Moment: The yearly birthday book
http://momenttomomentdk.blogspot.com/2010/08/yearly-birthday-book.html
Monday, August 23, 2010. The yearly birthday book. And each year they are a little different. If all my things were not packed up, I would show examples of previous years, however this is what Kaleena's will look like this year. I used brown paper bags for the book cover, I made it a double layer for durability and because one side of the paper bag had writing. For the pages I used watercolor paper because I had it on hand, usually I might use card stock. To the front i Mod Podged a pressed flower. Augus...
