The end is steering closer. Well, we've nearly come to the end of the year and I can't believe how quick time has flown by! I've thoroughly enjoyed my first year on the course and feel that my knowledge and understanding of the industry has progressed tremendously. I've met some awesome people and can't wait to continue my second year with them next year. I have my accomodation sorted for next year and intend to find a job to help save for trip opportunities if any arise again next year. The strategy lin...

Sunday, 16 May 2010. The End of the Beginning. Well this year of the course has came to an end. What I've learnt, I will never forget, and I can start making preparations. For my book from the things I have been taught. Over the year I have seen me gradually getting better at advertising and my confidence levels have increased dramatically. Tuesday, 12 April 2011. We went on a visit to Ogilvy to visit there digital lab and have a tour around there building. Ogilvy was nothing like I had expected, it was totally different to any other agency I have visited or researched about. It was very corporate, although it was creatively decorated and clean cut. Tuesday, 9 March 2010. Thoughts on Recent Work. The W K campaign for Coca-Cola “open happiness” is an example of a strong strategy. In this campaign an insight is used, the insight used is ‘opening a fresh bottle of Coke leads to you becoming happier.’ The insight is complex however the writer has condensed the insight into a clear and concise methodology which can be used openly in future ads to keep consistency. Tuesday, 12 April 2011. My idea was based around the strap like Hannah and I came up with, 'Sip. Savour. San Miguel.' I really like it but we did struggle with the art direction.
