Born in California and now a southern girl living in Tennessee. Monday, May 30, 2011. Today I spent time with Janis, an old friend I know from our time at PetSmart. I met her beautiful little girl, Ava Lou. She is such a sweet baby! No crying, no fussing, no tears- absolutely lovely. I held her,. And fell more in love with her each passing moment. After eating at Chang's, the new mom and I headed to Old Navy to see what we could fine. We listened to Sara Evans, "Stronger," and enjoyed each other's company.

Born in California and now a southern girl living in Tennessee. Saturday, June 4, 2011. Rebecca, Allie, and I made our way out to Overton Park, where we were able to listen to. The weather was warm and humid, but the music and company were good. Afterwards, we went to Bar Dog for a few drinks, and ended the night at Flying Saucer where we attempted to play darts. All of the girls were from Hope Church, and it was good to see all of them. Bosco’s is such a delicious restaurant! I love eating there. Allie and I split a pizza. It was a short, graceful reception and I felt so grateful to be a part of it. I watched as the beautiful bride and her handsome husband sang a duet, and then as she serenaded him with her own love song that she had rehearsed in front of me only days before. And I gathered at the Hope Church kitchen this morning around 4:30 to cook, organize, and wrap up sandwiches for the homeless downtown. From there we drove to Confederate Park and set up our tables filled with food, hot drinks, and Bibles. Friday, November 12, 2010. Monday, November 8, 2010. Saturday, November 6, 2010. Vandy vs Florida State. We both love Nashville, and it was a blessing to be able to visit.
