Friday, May 31, 2013. Huntsville with Dad and Rosie. Wednesday night, I received a message from Rosie that they would be in Huntsville on Thursday, and after they were finished taking care of the things they needed to get done, they would like to have lunch with us. Bobby's working nights this week so he wasn't able to, but the kids and I made plans to meet them. Rosie is making a trade out of it though. Tuesday, March 4, 2014. The Little Mermaid Jr. I can't say enough good things about this play. The only bad is that it's over! College Street Players have always held their performances in the Fine Arts Building, which consists of a tiny stage and limited seating. For this show, they were able to use Hartselle High School's auditorium which is HUGE and has lots of comfy seating! Esther came up with some awesome ideas for Brit and Chan's makeup. The entire cast did a fantastic job! Visited 8 states (16%).

Friday, March 7, 2014. Brit spent Sunday and Monday recouping from the play. On Tuesday morning, I dropped her off at Karen and Keilee's. They're doing a creative writing co-op in their home and thought Brit might enjoy it as well. This week, they went to the Cook's museum before their writing, art and stop animation group project. I enjoy the discovering of new ideas for projects or finding a book someone might enjoy or a link to some amazing video. I found just that video yesterday. Go HERE. And watch and learn. Friday, February 21, 2014. Okay, this kind of cracked me up so I wanted to share :) Back in August of 2012, Brit, Dakota and I were extras in the movie Grace Unplugged. We found out about it the day before and headed to Birmingham for a VERY LONG day! First, some pics from the day. We carefully watched each scene we were filmed in and nothing.until the VERY end. You can see the side of mine and Brit's heads. Hahaha! The very far left in the first pew. I totally consider us movie stars. The end. :). Right...

Saturday, March 30, 2013. It's been a slow week around here. Britney has been sinusy and sickish, I'm feeling puny and since Bobby's working nights, we've slept late and laid low. Dakota has been in complete game mode recently so we've played A LOT of board, Wii and computer games and that's been about the extent of our excitement. We woke up to the sound of rain and wind and snuggled up with Cody and fell back to sleep. After everyone got up, I made orange rolls and we got ready. Then we waited on Donna to get here.
