Sunday, August 14, 2011. Alison here to update you on my summer travels. We headed out to Okoboji, Iowa at the end of July to visit my great-grandparents. I had so much fun - check out my photos. Here's me sitting in an Ali-size chair looking out at the lake from the North Bay vantage point. This is me and my great-grandma reading after a yummy dinner of Iowa corn. The next morning, I found a bunch of fun toys to play with! We went out on the boat. At first, I didn't think this boat stuff was for me.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Spring Break, Easter Egg Hunts, and Mother's Day - a very long overdue post. My work life this spring has been thrown into a tailspin! Being the assessment coach at my school means that I am responsible for scheduling 1042 students to take the SOL tests. Thursday, December 2, 2010. Happy 10 month birthday! Alison turned 10 months old yesterday. She is super mobile, which makes her photo shoots increasingly difficult although quite funny. Our family friends tell us that she is close to walking. Andy and I firmly believe that she will get there in her own time. Saturday, November 26, 2011. We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. Mom-Mom, Pops, Andy, Alison, and I had a superb day that began with breakfast and the Macy's Day parade. Our gathering ended with a traditional feast that included pie! Not many pictures from our day but thought this was a good, silly one. Links to this post. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Alison chose her own costume this year from the lovely land that is Costco. Nothing like a pink sparkle dress to catch a toddler's eye.

Saturday, November 26, 2011. We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. Mom-Mom, Pops, Andy, Alison, and I had a superb day that began with breakfast and the Macy's Day parade. Sunday, October 9, 2011. While we were there, Uncle Chris and Jonathan showed me their pony. I even got to sit on her! I wasn't too sure of the pony. I liked the swing a lot more! It was such a pretty sunny day. I was so glad to be outside! We also went to my very first fall festival. I got a pet goats, go in a straw maze, and take a hayride. There was a wooden train to climb, too! I had so much fun! Hope everyone gets a chance to go outside to enjoy the weather before it gets too chilly!
