The worstest dream I never wished I had. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Kattu Malli (Flower of the Forest). Today I visited another Growing Opportunity client Group: Kattu Malli. It’s Joy of Giving. Week in India and Growing Opportunity. Is a part of it. As part of their community awareness program, they are encouraging each client group to give a tree. Today, Lam and I visited the Kattu Malli group and watched them plant their tree. The three women that we met all work their own stall in Pondy Bazaar.

For about five weeks, I too lived nearly a lifetime in a far off land where I entrenched myself into the Chennai community and established membership within the Growing Opportunity. Is even more impressive as it has not only contributed to the survival of the poor but has helped altered the course of future generations for the better as well.
