Tuesday, May 06, 2014. The rest of April. April was a great month. Except for the bit that Gordon was in China. Those bits are never fun. We manage to entertain ourselves while he is gone, but we miss him so much. The boys start attack wrestling me mid-week and I know that Daddy has been gone too long. Dare I say, obsessed about it. Every dollar we save I add to my ceiling fan fund. Weve only lived here a week, but last night was the final straw for sleeping without one. So I did make it to the top of a mountain in Colorado with an elevation greater than 14,000 feet above see level (a 14er, for anyone who doesnt speak native coloradoian). We drove to Mount Evans today, the highest paved road in north America. This picture was in the parking lot; we proceeded to climb a few hundred additional feet to the summit- around 14300, I think.
