http://aubreybaubrey.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 1, 2008. Well it's been far too long since I last wrote anything, though I don't know that I have much interesting to say. I'll update y'all anyway. Work has really picked up. finally doing experiments again, as well as my managerial duties, which I'm enjoying. We now have a post-doc in the lab, and she is really sweet and a very hard worker - you have. And a cat, Roman. Sommer laughed so loud that the dog immediately dropped it and wouldn't pick it up again so she could get a picture....

Peek-a-boo Two: JK Art Gala!
http://peekaboojack.blogspot.com/2010/05/jk-art-gala.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. Tonight was an Art Gala for the JK class at Jack's school. It was amazing. His classroom was transformed to display the children's works of art. They spent many weeks studying the works of Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Giacometti, Mary Cassatt, Jacob Lawerence, Michelangelo, Calder and Edgar Degas. They then created their own works of art in the styles of these artists. Jack has an incredible preschool teacher. This art unit is just one example of how much she has invested in Jack. Im havi...

Peek-a-boo Two: September 2009
http://peekaboojack.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 12, 2009. I've had lots of great blog entries floating in my head these past few months, but they never seem to actually make it to my blog. So, I've been relying on photos of my kiddos to fill the space until my wit and time return. Hope you've been enjoying them. They are just as delightful (& way louder) in real life. Wednesday, September 02, 2009. First Day of School. Jack started JK this year. I can't believe how big this kid is. . He loves school so much. .

Monday, December 07, 2009. Musings on Motherhood- 4.5 years in. I came across this picture today. It's of me and Jack the day he came home from the hospital. Notice the distressed look on my face masked by a smile. I knew I was supposed to be happy. Here I was, bringing my first baby home from the hospital. He was healthy (obviously he had a great set of lungs! He was beyond beautiful. Fast forward 3 1/2 years. But, these 2 babies have stolen my heart over and over and over again. There are few, if a...

Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I have no doubt that you will, I just hope that it happens right away. One thing that every single teacher you've ever had has told us is, "Everyone loves Jack." And it's true. You've never met a stranger. You can talk to anyone. You love people and love to play. I love you and your tender heart. Emily T. Holcombe. You are such sweet momma. Jack is so blessed to have you and John guiding, caring for and loving him so well. Best wishes for a wonderfully successful school year!
