My adventures in the kitchen. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad are two of the popular dishes served here during the summer. I went one step further today and made my own mayonnaise! It was so easy and best of all the salad is ALL ORGANIC! 6 potatoes, boiled and cut into 1 inch chunks. 3 eggs, hardboiled, shelled and sliced into chunks. 1 cup mayonnaise (see recipe below). 1 med onion, chopped. 2-3 stalks celery, chopped. 2 dill pickles chopped. 1 1/2 cup uncooked elbow macaroni.

My adventures in the kitchen. Friday, May 22, 2009. For the website to order the cakes. I think I've got it pretty close. It's a moist butter praline cake with chocolate and fine Kentucky bourbon. It's also best if it's covered and sits overnight. I forgot to get a picture of it before we cut into it.so here's one after we cut into it. Grease and flour an 8 inch springform pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 3/4 c coarsely chopped pecans. 1/8 c heavy whipping cream. 1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar.

I had mild and would definitely use the medium kimchi. I want to figure out how to make my own kimchi now. 2 containers (10 ounces each) brussels sprouts, ends trimmed, halved lengthwise through core. 2 tablespoons olive oil. This has intense almond flavor and makes 3 loaves of bread. 2 envelopes active dry yeast. 1/2 cup warm water. 2 eggs lightly beaten. 4 cups flour ( I prefer bread flour). 1 cup almond paste. 1 egg white, 1 tsp water. In pan heat milk, sugar (reserve 1 tsp for yeast), salt and butter until butter melts, let cool. Sprinkle yeast and 1 tsp sugar over warm water, stir and let stand 10 minutes or until bubbly.

I thought both my kids would love them, but I have a 3yr old who judges things on how she thinks they look, lol. CRISPY TOPPED SCALLOPED POTATOES serves 6. 1/2 cup chopped onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup. 1/4 tsp dry mustard. 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided).
