Photos and travel log of the Fitzies. Friday, November 9, 2007. Bariloche … the transplanted Swiss city! The length of this country is hard to imagine for an Irishman. We can go from east to west in Ireland in 3 hours. We’ve travelled south for days. Here, from temperatures of 40 deg in Salta to 1 deg in Bariloche, and we still have further south to go! Still 80km of dirt road to go and its getting late, no phone reception, no one on the road, 4km up on a mountain plane … spare tire used. Got to the tarmac road but it´s late. The net result for us travelling there is a "stress free" time, when even visiting for the first time. Just outside Clarinbridge, you can park your car and wonder around this lovely park and forest. There are loads of places to have a picnic when it's sunny.
