Now, that future child is going to be born in just a couple months. The other day I took out the bible to begin teaching my unborn son. He doesn't know it yet, but he will get this bible when he grows up. I will pass it along to him and hope that he gains wisdom from what The Lord has shown me. The only problem is when I sat down to start writing, I couldn't do it.

I don't know if I ever said "shoot some hoops" that sounds very early 90s of me.I probably said, "Do you want to go play some basketball." .yeah that sounds more like me. It doesn't have to be organized sports, I just want to play something. Posted by Kyle Nieman at. A New Journey Indeed. Maddie has an ama...

160; Comments. My Beautiful Wife, Maddie. My Talented Friend, Susan. I've had the same JanSport backpack since my sophomore year of high school. I loved this bag. It went to Vietnam with me, its been to countless youth camps, and it has stood up to it all. Over the past two years the zippers have started to break. I mean, it has lasted a decade, I shouldn't be too upset. After a year of searching for the right look, with the right quality, at the right price I came across this beauty. 3 "The Screwtape ...

160; Comments. My Beautiful Wife, Maddie. My Talented Friend, Susan. I had a failure this week. No, it was nothing horrible. It was not job threatening, marriage threatening, or life threatening in any way. What it did threaten was a friendship. There is no need to go over details, this post is not about this specific experience. I simply let a friend down and it wrecked me. There are a couple reasons I thought of:. Timidity: I feel small. I feel like at any moment I could hurt someone else. Maddie and...

160; Comments. My Beautiful Wife, Maddie. My Talented Friend, Susan. So this weekend I get the awesome opportunity to go on a fishing trip. For any of you that know me, you would know that fishing is not my thing. I'm not really good at it.maybe it is the waiting patiently part. But what is really exciting about this is the fact that I will be in New Mexico.you know where the highs are in the mid-80s right now.yeah.that's right! It gives me a refreshment for my ministry, and I wasn't even needing it!

160; Comments. My Beautiful Wife, Maddie. My Talented Friend, Susan. I'm not going to lie, I was so discouraged last night. I haven't been on a mission trip since my last one to Vietnam and that one ended with me getting sick as well. It was my greatest fear, I wanted to feel useful for the entirety of the trip. But I know there is nothing I can do about it. God is still being glorified! So let's recap day 4. We took a break for lunch. Spaghetti and meatballs, Honduran style. It was delicious! We heade...

160; Comments. My Beautiful Wife, Maddie. My Talented Friend, Susan. A year goes by. A year goes by. Has it really been since before December since my last post? How time flies. That is kind of how I have felt lately. Time just gets away from me? But is that really a bad thing? I don't know, it just seems like time rules everything we do. Just like everything we covet, God wants us to give that over to him. What would it look like if we stopped coveting our time and started offering our time sa...I hav...

160; Comments. My Beautiful Wife, Maddie. My Talented Friend, Susan. Over the past 3 weeks or so I have felt pretty stretched thin. Not only am I back in school full time and some how working full time, but I also was in charge of overseeing a major room renovation in our church. Nearly three years later the student ministry is averaging 40 on Wednesdays and 50 on Sundays. The awesome part is, I have very little to do with that! Believe me, I am bragging on God here!
