The Gotemba Minami ALT. Friday, 7 June 2013. My favourite time.Bunkasaiiiii! Last weekend was our school festival or bunkasai in Japanese. The festival lasts two days, Friday is just for the students to enjoy and Saturday is when the parents and past students come to take part. We don't have anything similar to this in Ireland, which is a shame because its so much fun and the students organize everything. It's a lot of responsibility! Me as Wally in the middle with HR21. Even the stairs were transformed.

The Gotemba Minami ALT. Thursday, 19 June 2014. Bunkasai - School Festival. Bunkasai was two days. Friday, June 6th was just for GONAN students and faculty to enjoy. I spent most of my time in the gym watching the talent shows, which is obvious because of my love for music. We have so many talented singers, musicians and dancers here! I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted because I was primarily filming, but I hope you enjoy these few! I'm already counting down the days until the next bunkasai!

The Gotemba Minami ALT. Friday, 15 February 2013. Soba Making with HR16. Some of the class learning how to roll the dough. Two of the girls trying their best to keep the noodles thin enough. The knife looked a little scary but it was fun to use. Fuka and I were definitely better at cutting udon than soba! Mr Katsumata cut the perfect noodles, below. Ours were not as good!
