Saturday, June 14, 2008. Home again, home again jiggety-jog! We woke up to an overcast sky on our last day of vacation. My dad always jokes that I bring the hot weather with me. Now that I was leaving to go home, the weather had turned cooler. We had such a nice leisure morning and afternoon. The kids got some playtime in,. The girls had some more time to try on clothes they found in Oma's closet,. And we went for a walk. We said a tearful goodbye, headed for the security gate and then boarded our plane.

Sunday, August 3, 2008. Off to the Fair. We all had a very wonderful time, but were ready to head home after two hours. Rhaevyn is still catching grasshoppers, but this week branched out to a baby Preying Mantis and three tiny tree frogs. She just let the preying mantis go this morning on my zucchini plant. Friday, July 11, 2008. Yesterday afternoon we celebrated Myles' birthday. Grandma and Grandpa Lindsay's present had just arrived in the mail, and Myles couldn't keep his little paws off of it. So, we let him open it before dinner. As he tore the paper off, he saw Mater and kept repeating "May-er, May-er" and "watch it, whatch it? We were trying to decide what Myles' favorite meal might be for dinner. We settled on Spaghetti. Once he finished his dinner, we sang to him, gave him his birthday cupcake.
