Thursday, November 4, 2010. I wandered around Thonglor and came across Rakuza in the area called "The Grass." Something about this place lured me inside without even looking at the menu first. Turned out, it was a Japanese fusion place. The atmosphere of the restaurant was more like a grown up place, this is definitely a perfect place to get away from the lousy teenagers. Friday, October 29, 2010. Coco Curry Ichibanya is a chain restaurant from Japan. I went to the one at Esplanade mall. for some reason Thais are obsessed with this place. I think it's good but not so good that I want to go so often. I think its quite pricy for a plate of curry. Fried Chicken curry with mushrooms and extra cheese. The cheese def made this meal so much more fattening. And when you order as a set, they give you a side of salad and a bottle of drink of your choice.

Monday, November 1, 2010. Est 33 by Sigha. There's this really cute beer garden in CDC (Crystal Design Center) Everything is quite pricey but they've got some really good beer. Since this place is such a hot spot, getting a table here has to be done wayyy in advance. Smoked salmon salad with pomegranate (this is def. one of my favorite dishes from here). Tuesday, July 13, 2010. While a good friend of mine from US was visiting me here she also had her friends visit her from China. We decided to go out to a nice dinner and I took them to To Die For. We pretty much ordered everything on the menu. Our friends ordered Oyster Shots. Smoked salmon wrapped with carrot and celery served with spicy sauce and mint leaf. Grilled tiger prawn and scallops with lime and min sauce. Banoffee = this was the best Banoffee I've ever had. More about To Die For.
