http://willzilla.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
I like to play around with writing and I thought this would be a good place to leave my little tales. Saturday, July 30, 2005. As a city engineer I spent the day supervising the dykes and levies that kept the river out of the city. The rain continued to pour, the snow pack continued to melt. Foot by foot the water rose, the smaller creeks and rivers began to flood. What do you find so amusing? Go away, I have work to do. I have plans to make, crews to direct, a city to save. You create your own disasters...

Willzilla: August 2005

I like to play around with writing and I thought this would be a good place to leave my little tales. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. They have built a new park in town. It’s pretty slick. Shiny bright plastic structures with slides, and ramps, and all sorts of cool things to crawl on and through and over. Everything is smooth, and soft, and rounded; there isn’t a sharp edge to be found. Once a driver was ticked off enough to pull over and chew us out. He didn't like the cool clanging sound dirt clods ma...

Where in the world is Ernest? Thursday, March 29, 2007. Always in the Fight. Dosky, nickname KC (standing). Where there is right and wrong, there is a fight. The best and worst are drawn to it. When the current Iraq conflict began, he welcomed the news. If an American guy is willing to come to die in my country, I should be there next...

Where in the world is Ernest? Sunday, April 29, 2007. My work described to you would probably sound of tedium and yawningness. So I share the words of yet another hero: Private First Class Ryan Ho. Young Ho heard stories of the first gulf war as a child and the recent one as a teenager. Looking for a direction, he signed up. I knew we were in a time of war, I knew it’s not going to be easy. Said the Hawaiian native. But I want to help people and I’m willing to make the sacrifice. Links to this post.

Where in the world is Ernest? Wednesday, May 30, 2007. Is This a Practical Joke? Here at our great Armor Operation, I have worn many hats. I keep the computers and network up and running, track down special part-orders, and solve some on-the-spot hang-ups. This morning for example, I righted a porta-potty that had blown over last night. Yeah, nice, I know. I hang armor and keep the MWR fridge stocked with cold water for the crew. Posted by Ernest at 9:21 PM. Links to this post. Wednesday, May 23, 2007.
