Just one blink and its changed. Saturday, April 23, 2011. So, each year it seems like our family has enjoyed a membership at a local museum or zoo. This year, we 'finally' have 'graduated' to the Greenfield Village/ Henry Ford Museum. finally. because we've been waiting until we were 'all old enough' to really enjoy it. A fun filled afternoon of all the rides we could enjoy! So for Spring Break this year the kids and I made a list of all the things we'd like to do -. Our first day of "spring break".

Nah it's a fire hazard in our tiny house that was filled to capacity with friends to celebrate! We had a great time with exactly 40 friends (including children) to celebrate. There were others who were invited. We had actually considered renting (for a second) a heated tent for the backyard. but we didn't! There were so many that we didn't take pictures (it would have been rude),.

What's Up At Our House. Saturday, December 10, 2011. I just finished reading Prophecy: The Fulfillment. By Deborah A. Jaeger. It was an interesting take on the end of the world, heralded in by another virgin birth. This book really sucked me in quickly though the ending felt rather abrupt to me. What's Up At Our House. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Wow, Restless in Carolina by Tamara Leigh is actually not my first choice genre for reading. I did find the alternating-narrator device a bit hard to follow at times, but if I set that aside and just went with the flow, it wasn't problematic. What's Up At Our House. Saturday, January 14, 2012. I’ve been sort of in a “reading rut” of late; just tend to reach for my phone or the computer to play a game or surf the web rather than picking up a book. But there are sooo many books I want to read that I’ve wanted to break out of this. This week, I think I may have found the book to do it…I read about 75% of this book in one sitting. I really enjoyed spending time with the residents of Sugarcreek and, yes, I am going to miss them.

Piety Street Market- Friends, Fun, Vintage Fashions. February 17, 2017. Tre and I loaded up the Ford and ventured south with this ‘ol thing vintage to the great city of New Orleans for the Piety Street Market. The car made it and once we got to our dwelling in the Irish Channel we ubered into town and our uber driver was non other than the Soul Glo guy from Coming to America! There was no turning back!
