http://longsisters.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
It's a Long Story. Thursday, September 29, 2005. File this under "I love my children, no matter what they say to me":. I was driving the kids to school yesterday. The sun was bright through the windows of the car, and it was already 90 degrees. I had raced around getting Jack ready for picture day, and hadn't put any makeup on. Jack says, "Mommy, I can see you in the mirror." My rearview mirror. I said, "Yes, Jack. Can you see me smiling at you? I guess the sunshine showed off the hairs on my lip. Is it ...

It's a Long Story. Friday, October 20, 2006. A few facts learned about silly putty. The light green colored silly putty looks like thick snot in warm water. Silly putty turns to the consistency of super glue in warm water. Imagine trying to scrub a thick layer of stickiness off of your 6 year old's private parts for a half an hour. Something the consistency of a a thick layer of band aid residue. Posted by Emily at 9:34 AM. Thursday, October 19, 2006. That's it, everybody out of the tub!

It's a Long Story. Sunday, May 28, 2006. Wright Vacation - I'm Dreaming of a White Memorial Day. Does it snow in May where you live? It snowed most of the day here, very out-of-the-ordinary for the Southern California crowd who thought it may actually be SPRING here! It's been nice to experience something akin to winter with the kids, but considering our first beach day was weeks ago, it's just weird. I feel quite out-of-order when I experience seasons out of sequence. Posted by Emily at 8:05 PM. No, I s...

It's a Long Story. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Warning Labels on Mountain Bikes. My husband should be the poster child for a campaign to institute warning labels on mountain bikes. Ninety percent of the time he returns from a ride with a new gash, road rash, or broken something or other. Tonight was no exception. It's only a broken collarbone. He'll be good as new in several weeks. Oh, and if you think along the same lines as Greg's dad, the bike is alright, just a slightly bent rim. My mom is so weird.

It's a Long Story. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. The Bachelor Drinking Game. The most amazing thing happened last night. It was a crazy, rainy day (complete with roof leak quickly repaired by my husband and his uncle).
