The new counselor is watching him very closely and making sure that Adam is getting everything that he needs, and when he needs it! It’s been a long time waiting for this, but we are so thankful. He’s not sure what each emotion means, but he certainly is getting to know more positive feelings. I have no idea long this is going to last. But very thankful for today!

Since he was removed while he was at school, it was the school districts responsibility to pay for almost everything for the residence. That was a relief. But at this point, we were very poor. With all of the specialists, and the therapists that we took him to see, and the therapists that we hired to help us at home, not much was left. Other than a lot of awful memories. His educational development was very low. Louis is at the same stage, and he is 4 years younger. He couldn’t sit, he couldn’t listen, he couldn’t learn.
