http://anewsong-korea.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Thursday, September 4, 2008. Last weekend, our staff went to a nearby beach for our Labor Day retreat. We had a great time of relaxing and enjoying each others' company. The weather was gorgeous, and we all felt refreshed by the time we left on Sunday. Colorful seafood restaurants and fireworks on the beach. Tad and Teal with sparklers. Lindsay and Cheryl getting ready to play "soccer" on the beach. Couple of other random beach pictures. Labels: Life In Korea.

A New Song: April 2010
http://anewsong-korea.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Saturday, April 24, 2010. Over the last few months, I have had a few people ask me this question. I haven't taken the time to answer very many of them individually, and so I thought I'd simply answer the question as a post on here. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure about everything coming up in my future, but I do have some simple plans and that is what I intend to share with you. Once I am there, my intention is to spend the next six months or so focusing on spending time wi...

A New Song: December 2009
http://anewsong-korea.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Two days left till Christmas! I can hardly believe this school year is almost half over. Sometimes it's almost frightening how quickly time passes. School ended for the holidays last Wednesday; I am thoroughly enjoying the time off. I decided to stay in Korea for the break this year for a number of reasons. I will miss (am missing.) seeing family and friends, of course, but the downtime has been very refreshing for me so far. Chapel Team at my house f...

A New Song: October 2009
http://anewsong-korea.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Sunday, October 25, 2009. The Lord has been teaching me some things this year that I'm not sure I can adequately put into words - but I'm going to make the attempt because that often helps me process these lessons. Those of you who actually read this post get to come along for the ride - I apologize in advance for the bumps and swerves! It has made me ask over and over - am I willing to do whatever is necessary to glorify God in my life - no matter what it costs me? Am I willing...

A New Song: January 2010
http://anewsong-korea.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! We started off the second half of the year with two snow days in a row. The first Monday after Christmas break, we woke up to a heavy snowfall, and in Seoul, it was reported as one of the heaviest snowfalls in a long time. (I personally think it was all of the students' prayers to have an extended break. Never underestimate the power of elementary students' prayers! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A New Song: Certification Update
http://anewsong-korea.blogspot.com/2010/06/certification-update.html
View my complete profile. Thursday, June 17, 2010. This year has been about God proving His faithfulness over and over to us as a school, as a staff and as individuals. We have been blessed immeasurably even in the difficulties, and we are able to see how He has used this time of stretching and discomfort for good in each of our lives. Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers and support and encouragement. As always, you have been a vital part of our ministry! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

View my complete profile. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. And now the second half of this past year in picture highlights. Elementary "cheerleaders" joining in at an all-school pep rally for basketball. Mission trip fundraiser dinner for Valentine's. Mission teams - Spring Break and Summer. Over Children's Day weekend (a Korean holiday), we took a group of girls from several discipleship groups on a Young Women's Jubilee at the beach. It was cold, but we enjoyed hanging out and investing in each others' lives!
