Tuesday, August 19, 2014. When you wish you had a camera! This weekend I was able to take the children to our local roller skating rink- compliments of our library's summer reading program. Since Derek was unable to go, and since the children didn't know how to skate, and assuming I had to hold on to all three children someway, somehow, I decided to leave the camera at home. (I didn't want to fall on the camera and break it.). They were so excited and immediately became independent out on the rink. I hav...

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. We received an update on Daniel! Oh, happy day! These two pictures were taken TODAY:. Daniel is about 19½ pounds and 29 inches tall! His feet are 4” long, and he has 15 teeth! Andrew only had 4 teeth when he was 19-months-old! This is Daniel's room:. He sleeps in his own crib in a room with 26 other children ages 0-3 years old. This orphanage has Westerners who volunteer there who, along with the nannies, take great care of the children. (This is not. What a great way to end a day!

2nd of 3…. Author: donna Category: Abbey. Abbey graduated last year, but that didn’t stop her from enjoying ONE more homeschool prom. This particular one (there are several in our area) welcomes graduates…and, the girl loves dances. They were practical, though. Abbey wore one of her prom dresses from a few years ago, and Daniel (rather than renting a tux) went out and bought a new suit. From what I hear, they had a wonderful time and enjoyed being one of the returning graduate couples. Denise – Seth.

All 6 kids have taken classes at some point, but right now Marley, Lainey, and Dylan are enrolled. From their website…. By train you can get from Lainey’s home city (Bengbu) to Dylan’s home city in 7 hours, traveling just short of 400 miles. That’s pretty cool. And, Payton and Elaina’s is May 2nd. So, here are pics from Prom #1. They attended an area homeschoolers prom (same one as last year). We met Kailee and her family at a friend’s lake house for pics. She picked out a new dress and shoes for the occasion. And, I curled her hair. She has a lot of hair. Before we know it, Lainey will be off to her prom. 2 Responses to “DDD”. April 21st, 2015 at 7:34 pm. Lainey certainly looks pretty all dressed up for the dance and her hair is just beautiful. It must have taken a long time for it to grow out that much.
