Saturday, May 28, 2011. I love poetry. I love writing it, I love listening to it, I love reading it. If poetry was chocolate cake, I'd be enormous. E E Cummings is definitely one of my five favorite poets and I love "Somewhere I Have Never Traveled, Gladly Beyond" which was written by him. Listen to him read it below (his voice gives me goosebumps! Especially when he says the last line.). PS Did you know that E.E. Cummings was not only a poet, but also a novelist, playwright, and painter? Things like tha...

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Alright so I've been neglecting this poor little blog for the last few weeks. At first I forgot, and then I procrastinated. So I'm sorry, blog! And I'm sorry any readers who have visited for the last few weeks, expecting to read up on literary happenings and coming to a barren, empty, desert. And I will be back to normal, to one or two posts a week. In my world of books, I've finished Anna Karenina (my new favorite! What have you been reading? Doesn't it give you goosebumps?

Wednesday, March 21, 2012. As I've briefly mentioned in the past, I have a secret love *. And his name is Walden. I had always harbored a dream of having my own quiet place to read and write and imagine. A dream that was pretty far-fetched for me, being the youngest of five sisters. Because girls are not always quiet creatures. In fact, they're kind of loud. Let's take a look inside, shall we? M And then my dad came home, shook his head, and built them again. It was a very lengthy and amusing process.

Monday, July 2, 2012. Have you ever heard of the Underground New York Public Library? It's the solo project of Ourit Ben-Haim, who photographs readers taking the NYC subways. I find it fascinating! This post made me dearly happy:. 8221;, he asked me. I hesitated and responded with some dread, “No.not really.”. I didn’t mind the way he proceeded though. “I LOVE being a Christian”, he said. “It keeps me strong! 8221; “It gives me PEACE in my heart! 8221; “It makes me happy! I also love the "About" page.

Friday, February 17, 2012. Music for Late Night Editing. I'm not at all musical, but I'm a music lover. I credit this to my dad. Never will I forget the day I looked over from the passenger seat and saw him wiping away tears while 'Butterfly Kisses' hummed over the radio. Dani, don't you ever get married." He said as he dropped me off at school and looked at me like I was leaving forever. Nothing Like You and I. The Perishers may be my favorite love song. Yes, I just wrote that. Jonsi Also, this song.

Monday, June 27, 2011. You asked me once what I would remember – this and much more.". Don't like sentimentality in writing. It's always been drilled into me that writers should just present the facts to keep their readers loyal. But today my sister is leaving home for at least a year. I will miss you.
