Saturday, April 23, 2011. I can't believe it. I only have 2 weeks and 2 days left here in New York. This spring passed by much quicker than I expected. Part of me is relieved. But, surprisingly (well at least. Am surprised) there is a part of me that has gotten a bit attached to this place. Moe, one of my managers, is also just plain wonderful. She taught me how to fix doll hair and also how to give the little girls a great time. And she's hilarious and lovable. One thing that I will not miss: the weather.

Monday, June 22, 2009. Father's Day and Chocolate Cake. Yesterday was a pretty good Father's Day, I think. We didn't do anything big. We just all stayed close to home. I baked a Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Cake for my dad. I made it from scratch.it took forever! And it made a big mess. Also, two of the 3 layers cracked in half.
