Unretouched photo of Lake Michigan, from the beach in Fish Creek, August 2013). This morning I am sitting next to our south facing bedroom window. As I read I keep moving my chair closer to the window, trying to get as full a serving of vitamin D as possible. How I love sunlight. Last week at this time I was in Orlando, and the sunlight was all around me. After this long long winter, I cannot get enough. Am I drawn to Him as I am drawn to this window at winter's close? How is your level of Vitamin D?

Generally I read two devotional blogs each morning that come to me via email. This morning one of them had me reread Psalm 23. In my journal I made a list of what God will do for me:. He makes me lie down. He leads me by quiet waters. He restores my soul. Wow Who would avoid such a God? He guides me in paths of righteousness. (which will bring further blessing.). He is with me. His rod and staff comfort me. (I know He will keep me within a safe parameter). He prepares a table for me. My Art Journal pages.

Wow it's been another year. where has time gone? I can't believe it. one sec it was summer, then suddenly there was snow on everything! I'm one blessed girl. this year, my only resolution is: to simply seek Jesus more then ever. i need Him so much. so so so much. I need to trust in Him. I need to listen, love, and obey Him. I figured I should finally write about my wonderful baby shower since my sister and friend, Betsy, already wrote about it. :) My friends and family did such an amazing job putting it together, from the food, diaper cake, decorations, cake, and presents!
