St Anthony of Padua School - Grade 5. Monday, February 2, 2015. Grade 5 is currently researching and writing a one to three minute persuasive speech. Students have chosen a topic of interest to themselves and then have to attempt to persuade the audience to their point of view. Wednesday February 4 is the last day that students have to research, draft and practice their speeches. In-class performances of the speeches will take place on Thursday and Friday of this week.
