graduate "extraordinaire": May 2013
http://graduate-extraordinaire.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 29, 2013. As my husband so lovingly likes to remind me, yes, it is still technically. Spring. BUT to every teacher I know, summer begins the day I walk out those school doors and into two months of freedom.*. My goal is to have a relaxing and fun summer without doing a whole lot of anything. Austin gave me The Pioneer Woman Cookbook. The face of an excited teacher leaving for the summer. Lots and lots of ice cream. The proper way to celebrate the successful end of the school year: Starbucks.

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. I think that anyone you meet would tell you that I'm a pretty chill person. Stuff doesn't get under my skin very easily. But right now in my life I have one major frustration:. My work hours are 8:00AM-4:00PM, Monday through Friday. Guess when the social security administration office is open? 9:00AM-3:00PM. And this girl needs to get a new card with her new married name before. She can get a new drivers license or do anything else. Ugh This deserves some frustration. One of ...

http://auntbeff.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Diary of an Old Maid. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Things I am thankful for this week:. Sweet gap-toothed grins from my little monkey (even if they are at 5:45 am). Four-day weekends with the Daddy home. Safety of all of my family and friends this week during the storms - many were not so lucky. A running buddy who is persistent in getting me out the door to run. Friday, May 20, 2011. Thankful Thursday (on Friday). My handsome husband of FOUR YEARS. Yummy pizza and apple pie for anniversary dinner. He goes on...

Diary of an Old Maid. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I know it's been a while but I've got a million and one excuses. Starting with - I've been PACKING TO MOVE! I know it will get done and I appreciate both sets of our parents for being willing to help us with the packing and moving. So, we have all this packing to finish since we are moving Thursday (that's day after tomorrow if you're counting). Instead of packing here's what I've been doing today:. Drinking obscene amounts of coffee. I think he looks like...

Diary of an Old Maid: 13 Months!
http://auntbeff.blogspot.com/2011/08/13-months.html
Diary of an Old Maid. Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Our little man is 13 months old today! We don't have the sticky bellies for anything past the first year (well, they might make them but we don't have them) so no "official" pictures today. But this picture pretty much sums up what's happening around here these days. Milo is into EVERYTHING. Today he figured out he could reach the door handle. Fantastic. At least he can't reach the deadbolt. Yet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a thirty-something ...

Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood!: October 2009
http://theateamadventures.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood! Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy.OMG. On a whim, we decided to take the girls to Disney on Ice. They LOVED it. LOVED IT. Seriously. Even Alivia who in her 18 months has NEVER made it through a church service managed to stay completely still for the entire show. Now I am not proposing that Disney on Ice and church are comparable but that child does not want for entertainment on a sunday morning either. Here we all are. Audrey @ Goodbye Dignity.

Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood!: Our Easter...
http://theateamadventures.blogspot.com/2011/04/our-easter.html
Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood! Sunday, April 24, 2011. As I was browsing facebook this evening and seeing everyone's family Easter pictures, I had one thought."Oh crap. I did not take one single picture of my girls in their easter dresses." So, you'll just have to take my word for it. They had Easter dresses. They were super cute. So what was I doing this morning instead of taking pictures of my perfectly styled children? Every hole in our yard is filled with water with all the rain we have had. ...

Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood! Friday, February 25, 2011. Because I have custody of the computer, and can't think of anything to say. I will share this little tidbit that I found in my drafts. Why, you ask was it in my drafts? Aaron is starting a fire in the fireplace and I hear a louder than usual whoosh of the gas catching.). Me: Do you still have your eyebrows? Aaron: Not sure. But if I don't you won't have to pluck them anymore. Me: Well, there you go. Audrey @ Goodbye Dignity. Links to this post.

Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood!: A story and pictures that have nothing to do with each other :)
http://theateamadventures.blogspot.com/2011/04/story-and-pictures-that-have-nothing-to.html
Goodbye Dignity, Hello Motherhood! Friday, April 22, 2011. A story and pictures that have nothing to do with each other :). Last night we went to a scholarship dinner. We took the girls. Abbey started the fun with a break down about 30 seconds after we walked in. She recovered in time for the entertainment portion of the evening which was a sweet, sweet family from our church singing a few songs. And then a sweet, old lady said, "What lovely children you have! Audrey @ Goodbye Dignity. These pictures are...

Saturday, July 30, 2016. It is Saturday, July 30th. This morning was officially my last day to sleep in before I return to school on Monday. Why is it that I get this sad feeling at the end of every summer? Sometimes I sit and think about the things I wish I had done, like eat at our favorite breakfast place in Atlanta or take a day trip to the lake. Then I sit and think some more, but now about how much work it is to be a teacher. In case you don't know, it's a lot of work. Did I ever truly feel relaxed?
