graham burns: February 2010
http://grahamburns.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
My artwork, projects, experiments, musings, and maybe some other stuff. This is my final project from printmaking senior year. It's a woodcut print roughly 8" x 11" titled Nomex Cowboy. I'll try to take a better picture, I've found it difficult to get a decent picture of a print like this. Stay tuned. Links to this post. Links to this post. Title: Switch as Necessary. Medium: Cooper Wiring Products light switch units. Dimensions and configuration variable. Links to this post. Links to this post.

My artwork, projects, experiments, musings, and maybe some other stuff. Here's a sampling of the various visuals I was commissioned to create for my musician friends! Named me their Art Diector last fall, and I've been doing a plethora of posters and such for them ever since. Joe Hamgeri. Had me do a full album design including a 12-page booklet and a painting for the cover! Joe Hamgeri - The Violet! Nice artwork, Graham! 24 May, 2011 18:32. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My artwork, projects, experiments, musings, and maybe some other stuff. Ok, this has been a loooong time coming. So sorry for the delay. Easier done than said, right? The process begins with making the mold. Our kitchen arrangement calls for 4 separate pieces, meaning 4 separate molds. Big molds, made to exact dimensions of 3/4" double-laminated melamine. All corners and edges must also be sealed with silicone, because a good countertop mold needs to be watertight. We just launched Bartlett bookoo - its ...

Chabot Family Blog: July 2012
http://chabotfam.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 23, 2012. I wish I could see into the future-then maybe I wouldn't be behind on the blog so much! So-here is my blog potluck-a little bit of everything! While we were in Maine we received a call from our Realtor giving us a closing date! I promise to write a separate post about the house and post pictures (I haven't really taken many yet). I will not just blow over this big life event; except for right now. This is our house-taken the day of the final walk through-June 14, 2012. Adrien did t...

Friday, August 24, 2012. Ayla Jean Chabot: born Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 2:19 PM. Weighing 6 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long. Ayla (pronounced 'I La') Hebrew: The Oak Tree, Turkish: Moon Glow. Before you read this blog post I must insist you go back in time 2 years and 4 months and read this. He kept notes on everything that was happening-times included. Here's why I wanted you to read that post about my experience giving birth to Cole: (Remember what a long day that was? When we arriv...

Monday, July 22, 2013. The Chabots Go Camping. Well, we sort of go camping. in our backyard. And, well, not all of us participate. New title: Adrien and Cole Have a Backyard Camp Out. We had a lot of fun playing in the tent during the day, we had a camp fire after dinner and made S'Mores and then Ayla and I left the boys to it. What a fun family experience. Getting the tent set up. Cole was trying to be a good helper. This is Ayla helping (staying out of the way). Helping Daddy throw logs on the fire.

Monday, April 29, 2013. Well, let's all just pretend that two months ago I wasn't two months behind and now I neglected the blog for another two months! Back on December 16th Ayla turned 4 months. Somehow I managed to skip that post and jump right to Christmas so now I have to back track and get out of order so you can see how cute she looked in her four month picture. Three month and four month comparison. Happy girl playing in her crib. All bundled up to go outside. Playing with my big brother!

Sunday, December 16, 2012. So, this just goes to show how behind I really am! In a couple days I'll be posting Ayla's four month picture! But here is her three month picture. Not much changed between two and three months for Ayla. She is getting stronger on her belly and sometimes rolls from her belly to her back. No laughing yet but just as smiley as ever! Three month picture (notice cute bow). Friday, December 14, 2012. Probably due to our gender neutral car seat/carrier). :). Ayla's first bow :).

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. That being said, WE FOUND A HOUSE. OUR HOUSE. THE HOUSE I'VE BEEN DREAMING OF! Except for one minor detail. It's a FIXER UPPER! I think sometimes God enjoys answering our prayers with a little twist. ;) I must tell you though that I absolutely LOVE this house. Quirks, nasty carpet, wallpaper, and all! Either way, you HAVE to see this house! So, no more blabbing. Let me just give you a little tour of our future home. Please, all comments are welcome! This is the dining room....

Friday, October 18, 2013. Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada! Adrien and I were blessed to go on the Family Heritage summer meeting/trip last month! This was our first vacation since having Ayla and our first time leaving her at all. The time away was bittersweet; we really enjoyed being 'off duty' and having one on one time together but we missed our kiddos dearly. We were excited to get back home and have hugs and cuddles from them both. On our way to Vegas! Vacation here we come! Two nights before w...

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Lost in the Shuffle. Thursday, October 25, 2012. Time is really flying by in the Chabot household. I can hardly believe little Ayla is already two months old! First captured smile. Mommy was actually the last person she smiled for! Daddy, Nana, Nandad, and even Auntie Babs got smiles before Mommy.). Hanging out with Cole Man. I laid Ayla down to take a picture of her and Cole laid down next to her. :). Getting good at tummy time! Monday, October 22, 2012. Our First Field Trip.

Monday, April 28, 2014. Cole had a field trip with his preschool class to a pumpkin patch. It was actually a ginormous green house with activities for the kids and a wagon full of pumpkins for them to pick from. We brought home two pumpkins for carving. I was able to go as a chaperon; it was fun to see Cole interact with his school friends! Then, of course, there is Halloween. There was some pumpkin carving involved (I hope I took pictures! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). July 2013 (I know, I know).

Sunday, April 22, 2012. I was silently pleading with God to just tell me what we were supposed to do! I'll be sure to keep you posted as our house hunt continues. We are excited with the knowledge that we will be able to buy a home to call our own rather than have to find a rental home, live in it for a year, and then move again. Thank you Lord! Friday, April 20, 2012. Luckily there wasn't any crying! Thank you to those of you who were able to come celebrate Cole's second birthday! Time has flown by and ...

Graham Burns - Photographer - landscape - Glasgow - Paisley - environmental - Scotland.
For the photographer Scotland is easy on the eye. It may be a small country, but it’s a BIG. Small country. Within its borders lies some wonderful scenery, a landscape peppered with castles and ancient monuments, each with a culture and story to tell. But Scotland is also a very urban society, of towns and big cities, where most Scots live. These photographs are the result of my own wanderings, or ‘stravaigs’, around Scotland, and some of the places, events, people (and pets!
