The Travels of Graham Reid

The Travels of Graham Reid. Monday, 15 September 2008. Here's the second BUNAC entry, documenting the hectic fortnight with Kate here! With Kate here for a fortnight, I just haven’t stopped, and I’m so tired! In a packed first weekend, we had skydived and gone to Vancouver Aquarium, and then for Labour Day Monday, we were off to Pacific National Exhibition Centre (PNE). We took the floatplane over from Vancouver, which offered great views of the city and the Gulf Islands, and also only took half an hour&...

The Travels of Graham Reid: November 2007

http://grahamreidtravels.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

The Travels of Graham Reid. Saturday, 24 November 2007. La premiere semaine en Canada. Landing down in Toronto to begin my year of cultural maturity was a bit of an anticlimax, to be honest. The excitement was replaced by disbelief, and I could have almost just have been going on a holiday. Ten days on and that feeling is still there. I have been so busy with partying and meeting new people that I have hardly had a time to stop and actually consider where I am and what I am doing! On the Friday night Mat...

The Travels of Graham Reid: Whistler while you work

http://grahamreidtravels.blogspot.com/2008/08/whistler-while-you-work.html

The Travels of Graham Reid. Tuesday, 12 August 2008. Whistler while you work. I have to admit, I haven't managed anything of too much interest to the outside world recently. Mat was over from Toronto. He'd hired a car, driven for eight days, and stayed in a few places along the way. Of course, he had managed to test the extent of the nightlife and gambling in choice cities such as Saskatoon and Winnipeg. I am beginning to recall the vast expense that comes with entry to a club and the furore beforehand.

The Travels of Graham Reid: Up all night

http://grahamreidtravels.blogspot.com/2008/08/up-all-night.html

The Travels of Graham Reid. Sunday, 3 August 2008. My head aches. My eyes are puffy and red. My hair is matted and my skin is greasy and stinks. I'm sleep deprived. I'm hungry, but my stomach doesn't want to consume anything. It's dark outside - it was light when I went to sleep. My mind is still trying to comprehend the night I have just had. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. My new pals from Computershare have reminded me that it doesn't have to. The bloke on the guitar was fantastic. He even sa...

The Travels of Graham Reid: July 2008

http://grahamreidtravels.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

The Travels of Graham Reid. Thursday, 31 July 2008. Yes, I know, I just couldn't be bothered to write my own post, so I copied and pasted an iconic 1990s soliloquy and changed the words a bit. What you gonna do? In English, I went to the Chinese night of the Vancouver Festival of Light. It was fantastic. In other news, I went to a Blues bar with the French and the Germans on Tuesday night. It was pretty fun, it's a shame I won't see them all again! Maybe some cheap stays on the mainland, yes? They put on...

The Travels of Graham Reid: February 2008

http://grahamreidtravels.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

The Travels of Graham Reid. Sunday, 24 February 2008. Time is slipping away. With only a week and a couple of days before I leave Montreal for sunny climes of Vancouver, I am wracking my brains to make sure I have been to each and every place I can go in this great city. So this afternoon I took a little trip down to where they held Expo '67 and the home of the Canadian GP- Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. I'll be damned if I leave Montreal and then find out there is some amazing place that I need to go to!

Work produced by Graham Reid. Please click an article on the right-hand side, or browse at your leisure. Monday, 7 April 2008. A review of band The Bees, in Newcastle, February, 2007:. Imagine if it was Ringo on the lead, Paul on the bass, John on the drums, and George was second guitar. And then next time you blinked it was John on the lead, Ringo on the trumpet, Paul on maracas and George on bass. Confused? The huge trumpeter Aaron Fletcher, dressed in an American trucking cap and chequered shirt, was ...

But where Oasis gained the right to love themselves by pioneering a new wave of sound and stamping a sizeable ‘F* k off’ sized imprint on 90’s culture, Maximo Park are still at the start of the journey that challenges every band- to strive and create something different. Gone are the days of Urban Hymns and What&#8...

Article produced for Sunday Sun, Newcastle, March 2007:. Newcastle United Reserves versus Liverpool Reserves. The Sun sets on the East, and rises in the West. This is the story of the epic journey one man (.and some other men, and a homeless woman etc) found riches and.err.a place to stay, in Vancouver. Graham Reid Phoenix | Exploring the Core of the Masculine

Exploring the Core of the Masculine. The Men Alive Show. Arcissism is a term from psychopathology, but it’s essentially a fancy term for extreme selfishness and, ultimately, narcissism is a win-lose game. Was last modified: July 12th, 2015. By Graham Reid Phoenix. Surrendering To Masculine Energy. Why do you need to surrender to masculine energy? Hilst Feminism has done some great things for us, it has also made women quite domineering with a tendency to castrate men with a single look. I suppose thi...
