Yasmin in Basel: Happy New Year
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2010/01/happy-new-year.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Friday, January 01, 2010. We thought we better tell you what we got up to at the end of last year. Zahra took her first walk outside with real big girl shoes on. She couldn't really walk, but since then she has been practising a little bit inside. Mostly just standing up on her own for ages and then taking a couple of wobbly steps before she falls down again. It is very cute. And try to find me in this picture! We went for Christmas din...

Yasmin in Basel: August 2009
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Monday, August 17, 2009. Well as if going to school wasn't enough to prove I am a big girl now, today I lost my first tooth! It was verrrrrry wobbly and then I brushed it and brushed it and all of a sudden it wasn't there anymore. We had to look on the floor to find it! Monday, August 10, 2009. My first day of school. Here I am ready to go, outside the house. It was pretty scary at the start, but once I got in the classroom I was happy.

Yasmin in Basel: 3 Kings' Day and snow
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2010/01/3-kings-day-and-snow.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Sunday, January 10, 2010. 3 Kings' Day and snow. On Wednesday it was 3 Kings' Day. That meant two exciting things happened. The first was that La Befana came. She is a witch who comes down the chimney and brings lollies and little presents to Italian kids. Since I go to Italian school now, she came to me too! Anyway, guess who got the king in that one? I love it because it makes me look even witchier than ever. I jolly well hope so!

Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Saturday, January 01, 2011. The rest of 2010! Well this time it is a really really really long time since I posted. It's already a new year! Happy New Year everyone. I'll just tell you a little about the year that was. Zio and Becky came and Zio taught Zahra how to headbutt. As all good uncles should. Dada went to Belarus to check out communisty things. While us girls went to Italy to hang out at the beach with some good friends. And bo...

Yasmin in Basel: February 2009
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Zahra crosses the border. Not last weekend but the weekend before Zahra crossed her first international border, when we drove to Germany for lunch. It only took about 15 minutes to get to the restaurant (and 5 minutes to get to Germany), but still, it is her first visit to another country, so we had to take a photo to remember it. And me doing crazy Pippi-ish things. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
