Having fun at the playground! Sunday, August 16, 2015. It's time for the annual portraits of Ben and Andrew. Ben is 8 1/2 and Andrew is 7. Andrew took some time in warming up to the camera this year. Usually he's the easy one and Ben struggles with the task, but not this year. Becky and Alex Hatch. Pitching rocks is always fun. Having fun at the playground! Monday, December 24, 2012. Santa and the Grandboys! On Wed., December 19 Becky and the boys came for our annual trip to visit Santa over a the Bass Pro Shop. We got there around 4:30 but were given a 6:30 appointment time. We played around with the various things they had set up for the kids then stopped at the snackbar for a snack. Having fun at the playground! Sunday, June 16, 2013. Early Spring on the Cape. My magnolia blossom from the Cape. This is the first spring I've seen it bloom, usually it blooms in September. I'll watch to see if it does then again this year or not. This is just a straggly looking branch coming out of the ground. It never seems to grow into a tree. I didn't eve see this little critter until I edited my photos! Dad just one week prior to his 90th birthday. I love the shades of green in early spring! Sarah gave me this single tulip for Mother's Day. I love how it was more horizontal than vertical. I just wish I'd had the time to work with a better background! My beautiful bleeding heart.

Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Tonight I had some fried peppers with my dinner. I love fried peppers! Sauteed in a little olive oil with a sprinkle of salt, the onion rings tinged with gold and the peppers crisply tender. Surely there is no culinary image more beautiful than a panful of bell peppers, the scarlet and emerald green of the peppers contrasting with the white of the onion slices. Almost too pretty to eat. Almost! No problem these days. I no longer make "presentations". I like the way you walk!
