Dream it, then do it

Dream it, then do it. Sunday, 17 December 2017. It's Nearly All Over. Only a few days to go and we'll be back to normal adverts on the TV. I get fed up with the same Chistmassy ones from early November that think they're being cute and clever. The only thing going for them in my opinion is that there are some great story ideas in there for us writers. These are the ones that have triggered my imagination this year:. Do you have any favourites? Have a great Christmas everyone. Monday, 13 November 2017.

Dream it, then do it: March 2015

http://grammargrub.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Dream it, then do it. Thursday, 12 March 2015. Hello, everybody. Orla here. I'm helping my granddad out today (or Gaffer. As he prefers to be called). He's been too busy again this month to post on his Blog so I'm doing it for him. I've made this collage to cheer him up. Here's me being a rascal at Christmas. I managed to reach the bauble on Boxing Day and brought the whole lot crashing down. Won't be trying that again. Here's me on my horse that granddad and nanna bought me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Dream it, then do it: Finding Time

http://grammargrub.blogspot.com/2015/01/finding-time.html

Dream it, then do it. Wednesday, 21 January 2015. Since Christmas I've really struggled to keep up with Twittering, Blogging, answering e-mails etc, not to mention trying to get some writing done, so I've bought Kath McGurl. S e-book Give Up Ironing. For those of you that don't know, Kath's alter-ego is womagwriter. That source of submission guidelines that all us magazine writers find invaluable. 21 January 2015 at 06:26. I cant believe your granddaughter is one! It doesnt seem five minutes ago you were...

About | From Short Stories to a Novel in 2016

https://paulareadman1.wordpress.com/about

From Short Stories to a Novel in 2016. 2014 was a practice, 2015 was a warm-up, 2016 is Game Time! I’ve been writing for about 16 years now. What I mean, is seriously writing to get published. Yes, I know that all of us have learnt the art of writing as children, even storytelling through writing essays at school, but that isn’t the same as learning how to become an author. I could read, and understood that a sentence started with a capital letter and a full stop, but nothing more. Hey, just wanted to le...

Carol Bevitt's blog on her writing and inspirations, along with occasional literature related news. Thursday, 29 January 2015. Today's post won't be very long, nor writing related. Our house has had a very bad case of Water Hammer recently- so whenever anyone turns on/off the hot taps there's a horrid noise. Fortunately the heating was okay- I don't work well in cold. The heating Engineer visited today and the solution is a valve being inserted into the pipework - seems we have a water pressure issue.

Carol Bevitt's blog on her writing and inspirations, along with occasional literature related news. Friday, 27 February 2015. Time for Voting for the Oddest Book Title of the Year again. I'm slowly recovering from the nasty bug, and my brain is no longer stuffed like a thick duvet! My characters have been quiet - plotting their next moves I suspect. It's also given me time to catch up on some reading, and looking into various things I need to get on with this month. 4 Nature's Nether Regions. But if you ...

Carol Bevitt's blog on her writing and inspirations, along with occasional literature related news. Thursday, 6 August 2015. Making Plans for 2016. A couple of years ago I bought an academic style diary because I started to have a list of dates for appointments and school/college dates for the next year, but only the back of the current year's diary to note them down - and my writing is not small! But this got me thinking about next year's events- yes I know it's only August. I'm thinking about a visit t...

Carol Bevitt's blog on her writing and inspirations, along with occasional literature related news. Thursday, 25 September 2014. Contemporary or Historical Romance? Over the years I've read a lot of contemporary romance fiction as well as historical romances. Though I never thought I would actually try writing a contemporary romance, I am persisting. Meanwhile my historical novella is sitting in first draft form waiting for me to continue the revision notes, while I continue with this contemporary romance.

Reinforcing Proper English by Reviewing Punctuation, Grammar, and Spelling Rules. Introduction to Grammar Guidelines. With texting, Facebook, and Twitter fast becoming main modes of communication, the new shorthand lingo that is developing will no doubt bring about a higher frequency of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.
