Viatge al grand canyon. Monday, 22 June 2009. Tornant a Las Vegas. Despres d'una dutxa i esmorzar a l'hotel hem agafat el cotxe cap a Las Vegas, d'on sortia el vol cap alla les 8 de la tarda. Aquest cop ens hem jurat no arribar tant just com al de l'anada! Les 5 hores de carretera no s'han fet curtes, pero per fi ens hem plantat de nou a Las Vegas, amb unes 5 hores de temps per poder visitar amb mes tranquilitat la ciutat. Viatge al grand canyon. Wednesday, 17 June 2009. En acabat de bastantes hores de cotxe, finalment hem arribat a l'hotel on teniem la reserva just davant de l'entrada al parc del grand canyon! El primer que hem fet es preguntar per alla quina era la millor excursio a fer durant un dia sencer. L'home que portava aquest tema a l'hotel ens deia que es podien fer unes excursions bastant cutres, i el Ramon tenia molt clar que ell volia baixar fins al riu i tornar a pujar. Hem acabat anant al ultra famos casino royale :D No gaire famos, pero es podia jugar a un black jack raro (Blackjack switch), que jugues amb dos jugades a la vegada i pots canviar si vols les segones cartes de les dues mans. Abans de posar-nos en marxa un altre cop, com que ja em feien mal els peus, m’he decidit per passer-me a les bambes de muntanya noves que tenia. Tenen molta mes sola, aixi que haurien de millorar el tema i en teoria pujant no s'haurien de moure tant. Els ultims 2 quilometres de pujada han sigut mes una batalla psicologica que no pas fisica. Viatge al grand canyon. Wednesday, 17 June 2009. Quasi ens quedem sense viatge. Ja ha arribat per fi el dia d'agafar el vol! Hem sortit de Portland cap a (Viva) Las Vegas! Haviem quedat de sortir a les 15:30 amb el Ramon i la Hieu, pero al final ens hem retrassat la Hieu i jo i hem sortit 20 minuts tard. Al sortir mes tard, ens hem trobat mes transit i quan hem arribat a casa la Lisa jo ja no tenia gens clar que agafessim el vol. I es normal, perque quedaven 25 minuts perque sortis el vol! La posta de sol.

Viatge al grand canyon. Wednesday, 17 June 2009. Cap alla les 10 ens hem aixecat i despres de dutxar-nos, hem sortit de Las Vegas en direccio al Grand Canyon! El viatge es bastant llarg (entre 4 i 5 hores), aixi que hem aprofitat per fer una parada a Hoover Dam, una presa molt gran i que en el seu moment va ser la mes gran del mon. Ara ja no es que sigui molt espectacular, pero en el seu dia va tenir tot tipus de records, com l'estructura de ciment mes gran del mon, mes altres coses que ja no recordo.
