Tuesday, February 05, 2008. Whilst Carla was here, we took a trippy-dippy to Venice - we left on Wednesday, December 12 and stayed until late Friday the 14th. WOO HOO! We did TONS of walking and walking and walking . there are no vehicles in Venice (bikes, motor scooters, cars, etc.) and the only transportation is by gondola, water boat or walking. And we took a look at a lot of the shops along the way . there was a lot of food and carnivale masks. The masks were amazingly beautiful and sometimes. THURSD...

On a side note, Melissa went to school last Monday (Feb. 9) and the roads were a thick sheet of ice. Melissa's bus was in a bit of an accident - the driver lost control and hit a yield sign and a fire hydrant. The kids on that bus were given a free pass - no school! At Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Yeah so, we went to Hawaii. Maui to be exact. Are you jealous? Here are just a few. We have a million photos of the trip! Lyssas photo of the beach. View of the reef and beach from the air. Just liked the colors on this. Kylee playing in one of the black sand beaches. Really cool. Lava rock broken down by the waves. Also a waterfall. Cant go to Hawaii and not see some of those! Lindsey on our nature walk. Lots of cool plants. Checking out the cave. Was neat! 2 going on 14?

Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Its really not that bad, both weeks of summer really were beautiful! Anyway, Minnesota is nice and we have made some new friends here. Not as much action as phoenix for sure, but the schools are better. That is good for teachers and their kids, plus having summer off makes sense here compared to phoenix. Everyone got a turn. haha. Sunday, February 20, 2011. Here is our new baby boy, Zack Douglas Owen! Notice Lindsey is still in her normal clothes? Yep, got the whole deal, went into labor and went speeding down the freeway, got pulled over by a cop, who made us wait for an ambulance! If this happens to you just stop for a second and tell him what is happening and drive away! What a handsome kid for a newborn! All the nurses were commenting on his nice round head. Thanks to everyone who has or will help us on our new adventure!
