Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Sterling turned 23 in September. When they came up for a visit we celebrated. Dennis was named Trainer of the Year at this year's annual. 29 October was our Andersen family Halloween party. I guess the sky dressed up in traditional Halloween colors to help us celebrate. The trick or treat bags were the most artistic yet. This is Rindi Van Langeveld (Gerrit and Alex' youngest). Alisa and J.J. are expecting again. Brita loves skeletons too.

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets

http://www.grandmamartitueller.blogspot.com/2010/06/when-we-first-arrived-on-oahu-they-were.html

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets. Sunday, June 27, 2010. When we first arrived on Oahu, they were celebrating their Pan Pacific holiday and King Kamehameha Days with a parade. In the middle of all the kimonos came a marching group wearing red cowboy hats and carrying outlines of Texas. I wasn't really sure how Texas tied in to being Hawaiian but apparently it does. One of the famous black beaches of Maui. It almost looked iridescent to me in the afternoon sun. 27 June 2010. Daniel was deployed ...

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets: Indian Summer

http://www.grandmamartitueller.blogspot.com/2010/10/indian-summer.html

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets. Friday, October 22, 2010. The weather has been beautiful- 70s during the day. The Mount Nebo Loop. This is the Devil's Kitchen in the Nebo Loop. It looks like a little Bryce Canyon. I got a chance to travel with Dennis to Pasco to visit. Celia and Brandon and the children. Part of the fun of being a grandma is buying treats for the grandkids without any thought to doing the laundry or scrubbing the car afterwards. Celia and Brandon are really good sports. Subscribe...

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets: Summer Birthday Blowouts

http://www.grandmamartitueller.blogspot.com/2010/10/summer-birthday-blowouts.html

Hot Bread, Soft Grass, and Cold Sheets. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Hey you guys, it was Aunt Darla's 50th birthday on August 4th. Tisher and Tueller cousins joined for the celebration. Those cousins are easy to throw a party with, they prepared enough pasta salad to feed 100 of us. There were actually around 40 total. That is cousin Laura Tisher sitting with Darla.). Dennis and Brita did the decorations. Next, it was Patton's second birthday on September 8th. Jessi served delicious orange Nemo punch.

Sunday, January 10, 2010. We were trying to head out the door one day and after putting Noah in his car seat I went into the other room to grab something. I came back to find this:. Look Mom," the kids said, "it's King Noah! That's my big deal. Okay? I caved pretty quickly with that request. My favorite word that Tanner says, "icker-ish" (licorice). My favorite thing that Hailey says, "Yes, Mama." Music to my ears. Christmas and not the week. Brandon thought I was crazy, but come on, it is a once in a li...

Thursday, November 11, 2010. Kalila the Caterpillar - (Authored by Hailey). Tanner found a caterpillar. I named it Kalila and put it into some tupperware with some grass, two rocks, and two branches with little leaves. A couple days later, I found Kalila. Inside a cocoon on a rock. I will let it go when it is a butterfly. Links to this post. Sunday, November 07, 2010. The Gospel According to Tanner. It's the 'Oh Wonderful to Me' song! Have you ever seen a painting of the resurrected Savoir wearing shoes?

Saturday, May 23, 2009. The Main Men in My Life. May has been a CRAZY month! But two of the highlights of the month involve my main men, Brandon and Tanner. (Oh, how I love them! The first major event being GRADUATION! May 1, 2009. I am so proud of Brandon and all the work he has put into the last four years! Can you tell it was an emotional day for me? Brandon's mom Sherri was able to come out to Memphis for graduation. It was great to see her and feel her love and support! He knows all his colors (even...

Building Characters: November 2008

http://haileyhouse.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Since we moved back to Utah, I was planning on bundling up the kids for Trick-or-Treating, but we were pleasantly suprised that we didn't have to. It's a good thing too, because I didn't know how I was going to convince Hailey that she had to put a coat over here ballerina costume. And then we have little Clark Kent! The thing that makes this costume so great (besides the fact that it only cost me $3 to make) is the fact that Tanner didn't know he was wearing a costume so he...

Sunday, June 12, 2011. This was Hailey's first day of 1st grade! A big step for her and mom, to have her gone at school all day. She handled it great though; she was ready for this next big kid step! Here's Ms. Elliot welcoming her to class. It's kind of ironic that I am finally posting about this now, because tomorrow is Hailey's last day of 1st grade. (It's been way too long since I've posted! She has had such a great year and learned so much! Will she make the right choices? It's an adventure for the ...

Tuesday, August 12, 2014. 2011 Recap - Part II }. By April, we were getting pretty eager to get outside, but it was still too cold to enjoy a picnic. So we took to having picnics in the back of the van so we wouldn't get blown away while eating. Then we would take the adventure outside and explore walking trails or play at a park. Hailey and Tanner want to be sure the Easter Bunny was welcome at our house. There's nothing like a good napping buddy. The much desired "Zooble" for a birthday gift:. Games on...

Sunday, June 06, 2010. Memorial Day and Bithdays. We went to "The Playground of Dreams" on Memorial Day to enjoy some family time. There are a couple of fun parks like this in the Tri-Cities that the community actually built themselves. The materials were purchased by the city and people showed up with their tools ready to work. It changes the way you view the park, and the community. Noah is all over the place these days. I can already tell, he's going to keep me on my toes! It ended up a little bit cha...

Sunday, August 08, 2010. Look Out - Noah's One! Noah turned one-year-old on the 14th of July. He had a fun little birthday! Hailey and Tanner made little cards to put on Noah's gifts and he genuinely loved the cards! He kept carefully opening them and turning them over and over. Kids had a hard time getting him interested in unwrapping the presents! The ball popper got a lot of giggles! Noah couldn't keep his hands off the cake while we sang "Happy Birthday" to him. We can't imagine our family without hi...
