I will make this the longest blog I've ever done, Promise! Last weekend we ventured to Meeker, Colorado to visit Mark. It's a 5 ish. Hour drive. Ry slept almost the whole way there! I know babies shouldn't have chocolate, but I figured hey it couldn't hurt! Ry was not giving up that cookie for anything! If I tried to grab it from him he shoved it (and I mean shoved) back into his mouth! He was a mess! LOL It was in his ears, in his hair and all over me. It was lovely! Ryder and his Uncle Cookie! Saturday, October 16, 2010. And just like that. No running along side of her while she learns her balance. No holding onto the seat in the awkward bend over run. No stopping in the middle of the road watching her ride off into the sunset. Not the stubborn, independet, free spirit that is Brooklyn. I wasn't even there for the "first time" without training wheels. She was at the neighbors and hopped onto the bike and rode it around in circles in the driveway. The look on her face is enough.
