Parent comment 1 (Sally). My problem is that I have been forced to watch my eldest suffer at the hands of her paternal family. The father is physically and mentally abusive. He has stabbed his brother in the back with scissors, assaulted his mother, numerously assaulted his now ex girlfriend and has threatened to kill himself and his son by his ex. My daughter has been forced to watch this abuse happen and many more things that I do not know about. This all happened before she was four. She is now 7.
