Dad, of course took part on occassion. Here he is going on probably his very first hike at age 4. Sheila, Halie an...

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Finally, it snowed! Halie's 2nd grade class Christmas program. Christmas Eve we drove to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point instead of Temple Square, since it was snowing and cold, and we could stay in our car and drive through the lights. Sheila's kids enjoyed that a lot. Afterwards, we came home to open jammies under the tree. Later in the week I was able to read the nativity story and have the grandchildren help with the pieces. Ready for Christmas morning. The grandkids th...

Thursday, February 7, 2013. Itty Bitty, but comfy. In anticipation of our upcoming visit to El Centro, and future camping trips, we purchased this little Aliner Sport pop-up so Von could be comfortable away from his bed and home. Basically a bed and very small kitchen, but it has heating, cooling, and is easy to assemble. Although it was a miserable month weatherwise.inspite of inversions, freeezing temps, freeeezing rain, and fog, we had fun getting together with the grandkids. Hayden was in heaven.
