Friday, August 15, 2008. Tara and Jeff were an absolute PLEASURE to work with! Tara has a degree in Dental Hygiene and Jeff is a Carpenter. They have Three wonderful kids, and you can cut the love in that family with a knife! They even made sure to have the kids involved in the ceremony, each one got a necklace with the family crest on it. I had a blast shooting their wedding and I hope it's not the last time I see them! Tara, you crack me up! Hope you like them guys! Friday, August 15, 2008.

Grand Rapids Wedding Photography: Grant Isaac Studio: December 2008

Tuesday, December 23, 2008. I can nearly guarantee you'll see pictures at this spot from their wedding, too. It was great for pictures! It's a man-made cave in a hill on the grounds of their church that had great light and atmosphere. We'll definitely look to make the short jaunt up to it once again come May. Really like the light in this one, in the cave entrance. On to Rockford, by the river. A favorite, for sure. Shooting through a Christmas tree with lights on it. I give you my hand! We think this is...

Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Lindsay Aaron: Engagement Session. Valentine's Day in Grand Rapids this year was classic: cold and snowy. In the week leading up to Lindsay and Aaron's session, Grant and I were a bit apprehensive about having a muddy field to work with, but the cold front came just in time. We woke up that morning to a beautiful blanket of snow covering everything. It was a perfect, romantic winter engagement session. One of our favorites. In Rosa Parks Circle. Friday, May 23, 2008. Here's some of our favorites from Daniela and Preston's wedding, back in April! Gettin' her gettin' ready on, with help from her sister, Diana. I love the pictures Leandra takes. I think is my favorite of hers from before the ceremony:. Although this one's pretty sweet as well. Daniela and Preston met before the ceremony for a few minutes, which is always good for some great pictures. Leandra and I are off to paint our new apartment. I'll add some more later. Friday, June 27, 2008. Amber and Dustin: Pt. 1. Amber and Dustin. Leandra is Amber's cousin, and we had a blast taking pictures, hanging out with family, and even managed to do a little bit of dancing. Here are some of the fav's:. Leandra's shot (she's got the drama goin' on):. They don't make churches like this anymore. Stone fronts with big wooden doors that you can open up and actually see the inside of the church. I love this picture. Ashley (Amber's sister) and her daughter, Jaysa (the flower gi...

Friday, October 31, 2008. Carol Josh: Engagement Session. For Carol and Josh's engagement session a few weeks ago we decided to explore a bit more around downtown Grand Rapids. It was fun getting to know them a bit more along the way, and we found some new locations to add to our list of favorites! We tried a different post-processing style on this one, and like it. Carol and Josh were great to each other, and interacted easily and naturally. And just for fun. All four of us! Sunday, October 26, 2008.
