Aaron, Chantel and the Jenkins kids. Friday, October 18, 2013. This is the first year we've been able to harvest apples from our trees. In the past, either wind, cold or birds have decimated our crop. This year, however, the branches hung to the ground with fruit and they taste wonderful! We had a great carrot year too. Aaron, Chantel and the Jenkins kids. Monday, April 15, 2013. I picked Bailey up from Emily's on Wednesday last week and she had a surprise for me. She decided her bangs were a little too long. She and another girl had cut their hair. Bailey cut her bangs and both sides by her ears. Emily was so sorry and all I could do was laugh. I took her over to Great Clips and had her hair trimmed to cover it up as much as possible. I think it's cute, though there's no hiding those bangs. :-). Monday, April 15, 2013.

Instead of fighting the crowds at Walmart, the Jenkins family trekked above Heber to hunt down our Christmas tree. While Aaron and I trudged through knee deep snow for about an hour, the girls frolicked and played in the snow. Handful of fresh cilantro. 8 oz sour cream. 1 tsp fajita seasoning (more to taste). 1 cup water or as needed during blending. Mix all ingredients in the blender on high until smooth.
